New Balance to open 8 stores in India next year

Fitness and lifestyle brand New Balance will open 8 more stores in India by the next year in cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
A 110 year old US sportswear and lifestyle brand, New Balance will open 8 more stores in India by next year end in partnership with Major Brands (India) Pvt Ltd. The brand is already has two exclusive stores in Delhi-NCR at DLF Mall of India and Pacific Mall, Delhi. The existing stores are spread over 1100 sq ft and 1000 sq ft respectively.
Amit Dhanjani, General Manager – Marketing, Major Brands (India) Pvt Ltd, said, “India is an important market for the brand as New Balance has competitive pricing and sells merchandise dedicated to not only fitness but lifestyle too. The brand ethos focuses on “running” as its core value. Both the initial stores of the brand are situated in Delhi NCR and 3rd one is also slated to open its door in Delhi. We plan to open 8 more stores in total by end of next year.” After Delhi, the brand will look at cities like Mumbai and Bangalore for their brick-and-mortar expansion.
