Santosh Nair joins DCC Print Vision LLP as Associate Director

Santosh Nair has recently joined Mumbai-based textile printing company DCC Print Vision LLP as its Associate Director. DCC group of companies is one of the most trusted names in the textile printing industry with a wide distributing network. Backed by more than 38 years of rich experience in the textile printing domain, the company has now become a major player in the industry.

Prior to this appointment, Nair was the Country Lead and Category Manager of HP’s India region, where he had the opportunity of managing the ultra-wide format product line for Solvent and UV platforms and was responsible for segment and market development for Latex product line. He was responsible for the page growth of all product line of HP Latex and the launch of the first Latex Flatbed in India.

Commenting on his new role at DCC Print Vision LLP, Santosh Nair told Retail4Growth, “This came as a good opportunity. As an Associate Director of DCC Print Vision, I will be able to contribute more in the new era of printing technology that the customers are now looking for. It gave me an opportunity to explore textile printing wherein dye-sublimation is a good subject to learn, which at HP I was aspiring to do. There is a lot of opportunities that I see in the textile printing and in the signage and retail space in the coming year. As a technology factor, printing is now narrowing down to the use of UV and Latex, but I think even dye-sublimation can hold a big name like H&M, which uses dye-sublimation printing solution and not UV or Latex. DCC also wants to expand into the retail space from a dye-sublimation perspective.”
