Spencer's to open two new hyper stores in Hyderabad today

Spencer's Retail, the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group Company, announced the launch of two new hypermarkets in Hyderabad, which will commence business on the eve of Independence Day.

Speaking about the new stores, S M Ramanathan, Vice President & Business Manager (Telengana & AP), Spencer's Retail said that with the two new hypermarkets, spread over an area of more than 60,000 sq.ft, brings the number of Spencer's hyper stores in Hyderabad to 5, the two being located at L B Nagar and Ramanthpur. Ramanathan said, " Hyderabad is very important to Spencer's -- it was the first city where Spencer's, way back in 2000, opened its first hypermarket at Musheerabad."

Spencer's total trading area now exceeds 11 lakh sq ft, Ramanathan added. "Currently Spencer's is attracting nearly 4 million footfalls every month. The two new hyper stores in Hyderabad are expected to provide ultimate shopping experience to discerning consumers with more than 20,000 quality products at an affordable price".

The two Spencer's stores offer a wide range of merchandise in food & grocery, fresh fruits & vegetables, home and stationery products, electrical and electronic products, as also personal care products.  The stores also offer fresh fish and meat, patisserie, a live bakery, dairy, chilled and frozen products. A wide variety of food take-away options promises to meet every consumer's requirement. The stores also boast of more than 350
variants of nuts, dry fruits and spices, such as Californian almonds, walnut, raisins, figs, apricots, pistachios, pine nuts and prunes. Another important attraction at the two new Spencer's stores is a wide range of organic food products (120 variants). Lakshman Nagar, Vice President, Spencer's clarified that the Spencer's range and assortment of food, personal care and electronic products are amongst the best in the city.  A lot of emphasis has been laid to ensure shopping convenience and fast checkouts.
