Taco Bell expands its footprint in Mumbai

America's largest Mexican fast food restaurant chain, Taco Bell announces the launch of two more outlets in Mumbai.

America's fast food restaurant chain, Taco Bell recently launched two new outlets at R-City Mall, Ghatkopar and Viviana Mall, Thane. Launched in India in 2010, Taco Bell, part of Yum! Restaurants India has four restaurants in Bangalore and three in Mumbai.

Taco Bell recently hosted the pre-launch After Dark Party at the R-City Mall outlet in Ghatkopar, in association with Mood Indigo - Asia's largest cultural festival. The event featured four rock bands from the MoodI portfolio, mouth water Taco Bell food and fun events for the audience. It also featured a heavily popular Tweet Off which trended in Mumbai.

Speaking about the launch of the new outlets, Unnat Varma, General Manager - Taco Bell & Pizza Hut, India, said, "At Taco Bell, we serve very innovative types of fast food that are crunchy, cheesy and extremely flavorful! Our experience both in Bangalore and Mumbai has been fantastic with consumers thoroughly enjoying new food formats like Tacos, Chalupas & Quesadillas. Though our food has familiar ingredients, they are done very differently. People come in both for snacking and having full meals”.

He also added, "The new food formats, differentiated tastes and even the new eating styles that some products demand make Taco Bell a place for complete'Food Adventure' for consumers. There is always an unexpected element of surprise at Taco Bell.”

The restaurant chain has 6000 stores in 16 countries which makes its one of the leading Mexican food chains worldwide.
