Arrow Digital recently has installed Jetrix KX5, true flatbed printer at VGA Digital Printers, Pune. On this portfolio expansion, spokesperson from VGA Digital Printers, Mr. Mandke said, “Arrow and VGA have a long business relationship and to continue this, we added the Jetrix KX5 Printer, as we trust Arrow and its products. Customer satisfaction is our motto, we prefer Arrow due to its unbeatable service and support. We are rest assured with Arrow Products and would love to explore the product and enhance our capabilities.”

Mr. Mandke further added, “Taking a decision for a True Flatbed and Roll to Roll was tough, we took test and trails on almost all products in the market, but we didn’t get the adhesion which we saw with the Jetrix KX5, finally we were convinced due to many features, such as Adhesion, Vibrancy, Roll to Roll Capabilities and White Option.”

According to Arrow Digital, the Jetrix is a 2.5x1.3 m UV flatbed machine. It uses an ink-set which is specially formulated to give strong adhesion to difficult substrates, such as glass, acrylic and metal. As it’s a true Flatbed one can print heavy substrates with thickness up to 4 inches.

The KX5 is equipped with 6 pl Konica Minolta 1024 Printhead, which offer "photographic quality" and can print at up to 1,440 dpi at speeds of up to 55 m2/hr. It also features a multi-layer print function that enables to schedule their print in layers instead of having to do multiple passes.

The print colours available are CMYK with White, Varnish & Primer as an optional extra. The Varnish provides a gloss finish for a variety of applications, including fine art and photographic work. The Primer gives the capability to print onto almost any substrate, such as Glass and Steel. There is also a 2.2 meter roll-to-roll option which gives total flexibility for printing a wide variety of substrates.
