Apple opens its largest technology centre in Bengaluru

The 4 lakh sq. ft. space host an enormous technology centre, accommodating about 4000 employees. The company has agreed on paying rental of Rs. 170 per sq. ft. that makes an annual expenditure of Rs. 82 crore.

The biggest American multinational, Apple leases around 4 lakh sq. ft. of commercial office space in Bengaluru’s central business district. The current initiative is considered to be the company’s biggest deal in India.

The new space will host an enormous technology centre, accommodating about 4000 employees. However, the company has decided to work with fewer workforces in order to evade the effects of the pandemic.

The tech giant has signed the lease with Prestige Estates at its Minsk Square building and has agreed on paying rental of Rs. 170 per sq. ft. that makes an annual expenditure of Rs. 82 crore.

The particular deal has corresponded with the company’s latest launch of online retail store. Apple with an online presence in the Indian market; is all set to launch its first physical store in Mumbai next month, as per the company.
