BIRKENSTOCK aims to expand its retail presence throughout the country

The brand looks forward to open more mono-stores in Indian cities, as it enters its second year in India

The German lifestyle brand, BIRKENSTOCK plans to extend its retail footprint throughout the country as it enters its second year in India. The brand aims offer a gratifying shopping experience to its loyal Indian customers with its wider reach.

With the opening of mono-stores in Hyderabad and Chennai, the brand has already started to reinforce its network in the southern part of the country and will continue to launch more mono-stores starting with Bengaluru in the upcoming year. The brand will also introduce its first stores in Mumbai and Chandigarh in the 2021 and will plan expansion in the other cities as well.

BIRKENSTOCK already had a wonderful first year in India as it has accomplished in opening successful mono-brand stores in Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai, further expanding through partner-operated retail concepts and shop-in-shop concepts in the premium segment. The brand entered India in 2019 and has a global presence in more than 100 countries throughout the world.
