Burgrill to open 40 outlets in India

Delhi based Burgrill launched its new outlet at GK road New Delhi. The brand has opened 14 outlets in India within 2 years.


Burgrill, a domestic quick service restaurant (QSR) brand with strong presence in tri-city (Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali) recently has launched its new outlet at GK New Delhi. Spread over 225 sq.ft area, the outlet offers an immense variety of fast food items including grilled burgers, salads, wraps, pasta along with a large number of tempting desserts and drinks like protein shakes etc.

Asking about the company’s future plans, Burgrill’s  Co-founders Shreh Madan shared that they have plans for launching over 40 outlets across the country including cities like Shimla, Amritsar, Mohali  Lucknow, Dehradun, Jalandhar  Gurgaon and Mohali etc. The Delhi-based brand is primarily targeting Tier-2 & 3 cities and in latter stage will expand in other Tier -1 cities including Bangalore and Mumbai.

Launched in 2016 by Ankur Madan, Shreh Madan and Rajat Bawa, Burgrill is famous for its variety of menu, tasty burgers, low pricing and quick services. The brand currently has a strong presence in North India especially in Delhi Punjab and Haryana through 14 plus outlets. Under the next set of outlets, they will be hitting in Shimla and Lucknow soon.  

The brand is operating most of its outlets under the franchise business model and offer outlets in 2 formats- restaurant and takeaway with the Rs 25-40 lakh investment options. To maintain quality and service standard, the company is taking care of all staff hiring and training requirements with the delivery of products all across the company owned and franchised outlets. 

According to Madan brothers and Bawa, the company is profitable since it has opened its first outlet in New Delhi in 2016 and also achieving profitability from across the outlets. The company owners are very positive for the potential of QSR segment and planning to strengthen its presence in the cities where it is already present. They are also working on various plans to grow the brand’s penetration.
