Canon magnifies retail presence in India with 170th Image Square

Canon, the leading digital imaging company in India, launched their tenth Canon Image Square (CIS) in Bangalore and achieved the 170th CIS milestone. The store was inaugurated at Banaswadi Main Road, Bengaluru. Its Photo Printing Lab concept is designed to experience leading-edge photography and photo printing services.

The CIS stores are Canon's endeavour to reach out to photography lovers all over the country and build a strong association with them. The exclusive CIS store offers complete range of DSLR cameras, lenses, attractive new products in PowerShot (Zoom series compact cameras and Professional compact cameras) and IXUS (entry level pocket size camera) series. The store provides solutions for all the photography enthusiasts by providing photography accessories such as tripods, camera bags, memory card, chargers and more.

Commenting on the launch, Andrew Koh, Vice President of Consumer Imaging and Information Center, Canon India said, "The launch of 170th Canon Image Square, in India, is our remarkable journey this year. The city's overwhelming response in the past has encouraged Canon India to integrate its presence with the inauguration of another store, thereby maximising customer reach and satisfaction.”

The store offers excellent photography and printing solutions. Customers can directly take prints of photographs from their smart phones, tablets, pen drives, memory cards or CD's. The staff is trained professionally to assist customers in choosing products according to their requirements.
 
The company intends to open more CIS stores in the coming years and thereby engross with existing as well as new customers for better services. With this launch the total number of CIS will be 170 spanning over 80 cities in India.

To further consolidate its position in the imaging industry, Canon has recently launched a range of new variants in the PowerShot, IXUS, EOS series, Professional Video Cameras and Cinema Cameras.
