Design Cafe launches largest experience centre in Thane

The launch is in line with the company’s 12 city expansion strategy to open 25 experience centres by September.

The 3500 square feet experience center is centrally located at the Dosti Imperia, one of the most popular avenues for modular furniture and home decor shopping. The launch is part of the company's ambitious expansion strategy, where they plan to open 25 experience centres in 12 cities by September 2022. The company will also be expanding to Pune and Mysore shortly, with more cities to follow soon.

Design Cafe’s Thane EC showcases five smartly designed modular kitchens, three living rooms, and a wide range of wardrobe designs for all home sizes.

Design Cafe currently offers over 30,000 design possibilities with world class materials, finishes and  customer-centric approach to designing homes.

Gita Ramanan, Co-Founder and CEO, Design Cafesaid, “We are extremely excited to launch the largest experience center in Thane, which is also the best EC we’ve produced yet. Unlike Mumbai, Thane has been an unexplored and often ignored city, but we believe we’re uniquely positioned to deliver value to the city's homeowners.”

Shezaan Bhojani, Co-founder and CEO, Design Cafe,said, “Thane is an important market for us. Our research reveals that Thane will see sales of between 20,000 to 25,000 new home units this year. Interestingly this number is more than in larger cities like Mumbai and Chennai. Thane also supports a Rs.1500 crore market in modular furniture which only shows us that the city is ready for newer ideas in terms of aesthetics and designs. All this led us to create our experience centre here which has been designed and executed in just two months with an investment of INR Rs.1 Crore. Here, we have highlighted our extensive range of designs and selections across segments that customers can experience before creating their own masterpiece with us.”

The EC will also be recruiting in-house designers, design partners and sales managers to ensure each customer entering the EC will be provided with a curated experience that is structured to their needs, Bhojani added.
