Future Retail reappoints Kishore Biyani as MD, Rakesh Biyani as Joint MD for 3 years

Future Retail has reappointed Kishore Biyani as its Managing Director and Rakesh Biyani as its Joint Managing Director for three years, claims media reports.

The company’s board in a meeting on Monday ‘considered and approved the reappointment’ for three years effective May 2 subject to the approval of shareholders of the company at the ensuing general meeting,” PTI said quoting Future Retail.

Future Retail is part of Future Group founded by Kishore Biyani. Biyani is also Group’s CEO. He has over 38 years of experience in the field of retail manufacturing and marketing.

Rakesh Biyani leads the management in expansion of the Group’s flagship formats such as Big Bazaar, Central and Fbb. He is associated with Future Group for over 23 years.
