The newer shopfitting systems will cater to a broader range of product categories, including sports, eyewear, jewellery, and travel, and compatible to various retail formats.

INSYNC Shop Fittings introduced two distinct electrified shopfitting systems – Ingrain and Evolv at DDX Asia 2026, each designed to address different retail needs, yet built on the company’s core engineering philosophy of flexibility and integration.
“We’ve already establsihed a strong position in fashion and footwear,” said Huzefa Merchant, Founder of INSYNC Shop Fittings. “Now we are creating newer applications. The idea is to enter newer industries like sports, eyewear, jewellery and travel.”
Ingrain, launched by INSYNC, is a premium architectural solution where electrification is embedded directly into solid wood and wooden blocks. “What we have done here is ingrained the technology directly into pine wood,” explains Huzefa. “A lot of design agencies don’t want visible hardware. So the hardware sits behind. What the customer sees is only the wood and the merchandise.”
The system has already been implemented in select retail environments, including a footwear configuration at Fila’s store at the Mall of Asia in Bengaluru. Earlier versions of INSYNC’s electrified systems are also being used by brands such as Metro, Mochi, Diesel, and more.
The another solution, Evolv introduces flexible furniture systems that snap, shift and illuminate. It is designed to work across many types of retail spaces. From wine stores and fashion boutiques to beauty, lifestyle and eyewear brands, the system easily adapts to different store formats. Whether it’s a compact airport kiosk, a large duty-free outlet, or a premium high-street store, the electrified tracks allow retailers to install shelves, lighting and displays quickly and neatly, without complicated wiring or heavy installations.
“Initially, when I launched INSYNC, I wanted to supply components and work with shopfitting partners,” he shares. “But today we manage everything, from design engineering to manufacturing and service. The entire lifecycle is handled by us.”
With facilities in Pune and multiple units in Mumbai, and expansion plans underway, INSYNC is preparing for larger capacities by 2027.
