ISA 2018: Speaker - Manish Makhijani, HUL

Manish Makhijani is head of consumer insights at Hindustan Unilever Ltd and has spent more than twenty years in the research industry on both agency and client side.

Manish Makhijani, CMI Head - South Asia, Unilever will be participating in the panel discussion on "Evolving trends in Shopper Marketing to the Connected Indian Consumer” at In-Store Asia 2018, the largest retail experience expo and convention in the Indian subcontinent, which is scheduled to be held between 22nd-24th February 2018 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai.

Manish Makhijani is head of consumer insights at Hindustan Unilever Ltd and has spent more than twenty years in the research industry on both agency and client side. Apart from India, he has worked with Unilever in UK, Singapore and Thailand in different categories and brands. His expertise is to integrate consumer understanding with the business strategy and he is passionate about enhancing the insights capabilities of the organisations. Manish has written various papers for ESOMAR and MRSI, presented in different industry forums and has been a speaker in different institutes around the world - from MICA in Ahmedabad to London School of Economics in London. He was awarded the Ginny Valentine Award for 'Courage in Research' in 2013.

Manish, a father of two giggly girls, is passionate about movies, music and food and now lives in Mumbai.
