Jockey opens 1000th exclusive brand store

The launch at Vishakhapatnam in AP is in line with the company’s focus on further expanding its retail network in the country across both urban & rural markets

Page Industries, India’s leading apparel manufacturer and the exclusive licensee of Jockey and Speedo in India, announced the launch of Jockey’s 1000th exclusive brand store (EBS) in India at Vishakhapatnam. The launch earmarks a significant milestone in the network of exclusive Jockey stores which have grown consistently since the launch of the first store in Bangalore in 1995. 

With this launch, Jockey has further expanded its retail network as it focuses on deeper penetration for accelerated growth in the country. The new store launch highlights the significance of the traditional retail network spread for Jockey as the company simultaneously focuses on expanding its online presence.

Since its launch in 1995, Jockey’s exclusive branded store network has evolved from small standalone stores to exclusive outlets catering only to women or children. Present in high footfall areas including malls and high streets across 350 towns, the network of exclusive Jockey brand outlets today reflects the expanded range of offerings across customer segments including men, women and kids. These outlets branded as Jockey store, Jockey Woman and Jockey Juniors give consumers the convenience of exploring the entire range of Jockey products across various apparel categories, all under one roof.
