Koskii changes its store design with its 6th store that takes on the design of a haveli. The brand plans to reach a mark of 20 stores by end of next year

Women ethnicwear brand Koskii has recently opened its 6th outlet at Bangalore’s popular Phoenix Marketcity Mall. Spread across 2000 sq ft, the biggest store of Koskii, is designed by Bangalore-based design firm Restore Design. Talking to Retail4growth on the design of the store, Umar Akhter, CEO, Koskii, said, “With this store, we have broken away from our generic store design. Wearing a design of an Indian haveli, the store design is a blueprint for us and all the upcoming Koskii stores will be adaptation of the same. We have disbursed the space in terms of occasions and not in terms of category, making the store far more exciting than any other ethnicwear store.”

The store features a story wall that further explains the myriad theme of Indian festivals and occasions. While the rest of the store uses a natural tone and texture and stone tiling, the wedding section is segregated with a wooden arch along with wooden walls and flooring. “We plan to be present through 20 outlets by end of next year. Our store design and brand communications will be through combined effort from Restore and Bangalore-based Brandvak respectively,” Akhter concluded.
