The brand is aiming to open 50 stores by 2029, expanding into Tier 2 cities, travel hubs, and high-street destinations.

Sneakrz, the multi-brand performance footwear retail concept by Brandman Retail, has launched its first store in Guwahati. The store is “designed not just as a retail outlet but as a space where movement, design, and culture meet” says the company. Stores in Noida, Mumbai, and Delhi are already in the works, with over 10 more signed across Adani Airports and high-street locations, the company informs.

More than just shelves lined with shoes, Sneakrz brings global performance brands like New Balance, On, Saucony, Puma, Adidas, and Asics into an environment that feels rooted in India, a space built for athletes, casual movers, trendsetters, and the growing community of sneakerheads who see sneakers as more than just footwear,” adds the company.

Our sneaker story is still being written in India,” says Kashika Malhotra, founder of Sneakrz. For many of us, sneakers are how we express ourselves, through movement, through fashion, through culture. Sneakrz is our way of creating a platform that feels global but speaks in a distinctly Indian voice. With India’s ₹12,000 crore sneaker market growing at over 15% CAGR, Sneakrz is poised to ride this wave. We aim to build a culture that’s inclusive, conscious, and unapologetically Indian. The brand is aiming to open 50 stores by 2029, expanding into Tier 2 cities, travel hubs, and high-street destinations.

According to the company, India’s sneaker market is booming, driven by a new generation that cares not only about performance but also about purpose and planet. Sneakrz taps into this sentiment with a strong community-first approach and an emphasis on sustainability. The company aims to scale this concept quickly, with 10 Sneakrz outlets planned by 2026 across airports, high-street locations, and Grade A malls in major urban centres

From locally inspired store designs using bamboo, handcrafted visuals, and upcycled elements, to limited-edition drops and collaborations with Indian artists and NGOs, every Sneakrz store tells a story about where we are headed as a brand. The upcoming Guwahati store, for instance, will celebrate local craft and movement, while the Mumbai space takes inspiration from the city's coastal energy and street art scene. Every store reflects its location (tangible, relatable, and personal), offering more than a transaction, but an experience rooted in the community,” shares the company.
