Mango to accelerate expansion with 10 new stores in India

The Spanish clothing design and manufacturing company, Mango prepares for expansion in India as malls reopen post-lockdown. The company under the sub-franchisee of Myntra aims to open 10 new stores in the country.

Daniel Lopez, Director of expansion and Franchises, Mango, stated “It is excellent news that the expansion plan we announced in 2017 is being implemented successfully. Myntra is an ideal partner for us, since it has the capacity to develop an excellent omnichannel strategy in India, one of the markets with the greatest potential in the world. The brand is all set to inaugurate a new store this October at Infiniti mall in Mumbai. The next openings are queued-up for Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ludhiana and New Delhi. It has also planned to open standalone stores in Hyderabad, Surat and Lucknow. The recent store additions will the increase the store count to 29, making India as the country with second highest number of stores in Asia.
