MMDI and Diamond Display tie-up to start a JV company

Bringing the best-in-country expertise in printing and signages respectively together, Hyderabad-based Macromedia Digital Imaging Pvt. Ltd and Bangalore-based Diamond Display Pvt Ltd, have joined hands to create Macromedia Diamond Display Pvt Ltd, which will manufacture high-end shop front and in-store signages.

Confirming the news, Ramakrishna Prasad Musunuri, Director, Macromedia, told Media4growth, “We are the market leader in large format printing with facilities in 9 India cities. We are already working in the vast field of visual merchandising. Joining hands with Diamond Display, who are frontrunner in making high-end siganges, will help us both in excelling in the business of all types of signages.” The joint company will operate from its first unit at Greater NOIDA and will soon expand in various other cities.

Talking to Retail4growth, RG Venkatesh, MD, Diamond Display Pvt Ltd, explained, “We are already known as a high-valued signage manufacturer and provider to retail, hospitality and airports. What we have realized over all these years in business is that customers need strong foundation of experiences while choosing vendors. Thus, this joint venture took place. Though we are starting from north India, we will soon expand through western part of the country and then the rest.”

The company will begin its operation from August. MMDI is already developing a software for their retail clients to help them keep a constant check on the staus of their orders and other updates.
