Phoenix Market City pays homage to the'Missile Man of India'

A sand sculpture of the Late Dr. APJ Kalam was exhibited recently at the entrance of Phoenix Market City, Pune.
Phoenix Market City, Pune invited Narayan Sahu, an eminent sand artist, from Berhampur, Orissa to create a sand sculpture as a tribute to the'Peoples' President' and Late Honorable Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Azad.
Exhibited on the occasion of the 69th Independence Day of India, the life-size sculpture was displayed at the entrance lobby of the mall. The sculpture was revealed to the public on August 13, 2015. Narayan, who is lauded by the central government, has painstakingly created the figure to honour Dr. Kalam's absence on our Independence Day.
