Radiowalla Network launches video analytics for retail spaces

Through Radiowalla Video Analytics, retailers can benefit in many ways including evaluating marketing activities, live people traffic and occupancy counts, asses sale conversion rate, see how new product lines or services affect footfall and more.

Bangalore-based Radiowalla Network, a popular in-store radio provider, has recently started piloting its Video Analytics Solutions at a few retail spaces which offers People Counting Solution and Demographic Profiling. A plug-and-play device which analyzes the video footage can count the number of people who ave entered or exited a store. The camera installed in each location at strategic points can analyse gender, age group and gauge the emotion of audience. Speaking to Retail4Growth, Harpreet Singh, COO, Radiowalla Network said, “We aim to become a one-stop solution provider for innovative technology for retail analytics. Our accuracy with the new retail analytics solution such as Video Analytic is more than 90%. We have piloted this solution in multiple retail locations and plan to have atleast half our clientele using in-store radio to get this in the next few years.” Radiowalla currently provides in-store radio to more than 10,000 stores and has a clientele of 220+ brands, spread over 6 countries.
