Rakesh Jallipally appointed CEO of Pepe Jeans India

Rakesh Jallipally, former VP of Flipkart, has been appointed as CEO of Pepe Jeans India Ltd. Rakesh comes with over 17+ years of experience in the fashion and apparel industry. As a passionate and strategic business leader Rakesh has successfully built, grown, and managed multiple brands across diverse markets and segments. 

As Vice President at Flipkart, his focus was on driving strategic initiatives that fostered growth and innovation within the e-commerce space. In his earlier tenure as Business Head at AZORTE, of Reliance Retail, he focused on applying his abilities in conceptualizing and scaling fashion-retail operations infused with cutting-edge technology. 

In 2018, he joined Arvind Fashions, beginning as VP for key brands like USPA, Flying Machine, and Ed Hardy. As CEO and COO at Arvind Fashions, he led the turnaround and transformation of several brands, increasing their market share and profitability. Rakesh’s stated mission is to create value and impact through innovation, excellence, and sustainability in the fashion and apparel industry.
