Roland DG appoints Venkat Adiraju as Country Manager, India

Roland DG has announced the appointment of Venkat Adiraju in the position of Country Manager responsible for further developing Roland's presence in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka. Adiraju brings over 17 years of experience to the role, spanning the fields of enterprise and channel sales, business development, category management, product marketing and product management.

Adiraju's appointment illustrates Roland DG's continued commitment to strengthening its market positions in the print, sublimation, engraving, medical, dental and 3D sectors within these regions. Jerry Davies, Managing Director of Roland DG (UK), explains,'Venkat is a great addition to our team, and with his presence on the ground in India he will provide support to Apsom Infotex and provide first-hand insight into the changing dynamics of the market there. Combined with the wealth of experience Venkat brings to the team, this will allow us to develop further in India, supporting our customers and exploring new markets and opportunities. Most recently, Adiraju held the role of Strategic Business Development Manager - Asia-Pacific & China, at Printronix Asia. Prior to this, positions within product marketing, product management and enterprise business management at organisations including Samsung India Electronics, Toshiba India, and Epson India have provided Adiraju with a strong understanding of the print market in this region.
