Shark Shopfits marks a big milestone, kicks off phase I of ‘Giga Factory’ project in Bhopal

Shark Shopfits Pvt Ltd has announced the official launch of its operations in Bhopal with the commissioning of Phase 1 of its new greenfield manufacturing facility ‘The Giga Factory’.  The company informs that on completion over the next five years, this facility will become the largest manufacturing unit in India's shopfitting industry, spanning an impressive 45 acres. 

Speaking about the significant milestone, Manish Jain, Founder-Director. The company also informs that the recently inaugurated Phase 1 of Giga Factory boasts a substantial built-up area of 15,000 sqm with the facility equipped with the latest technology, including advanced metal sheet machines, automated welding stations, two WIP storage areas, and a best-in-class powder coating plant all under one roof.  

The company adds that the LEED-certified facility has been designed with sustainability at its core, relying solely on solar energy to meet its power requirements, demonstrating its commitment to eco-friendly practices that extend to FSC-certified manufacturing, advanced water harvesting systems for utilizing in general operations, and cutting-edge automation. 

Speaking about the choice of Bhopal as location, Manish says, “Bhopal was strategically selected as the location for our new facility due to its unique geographical advantage. Centrally situated in India, Bhopal offers unparalleled accessibility to all regions of the country. Its well-developed transportation infrastructure provides seamless connectivity by air, road, and rail, facilitating efficient logistics and supply chain management. Notably, Bhopal's proximity to our existing facility in Delhi ensures streamlined operations and enhanced collaboration.” 

Furthermore, as Manish points out, Bhopal's connectivity to major ports is a significant advantage. With transit times ranging from 24 to 72 hours to west and south India ports, the company can ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, strengthening its competitiveness in the market.
