Starbucks launched its flagship store at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, taking the total count to 58 stores across the country in less than two years since the brand was launched in India. The brand also plans to open another store in Hyderabad at the Forum Mall.

Tata Starbucks Ltd, a 50/50 joint venture between Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Global Beverages Limited, has strengthened its presence in southern India with the opening of the flagship Starbucks store at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. This flagship store is the 58th Starbucks store across six cities in less than two years of the brand launch in India. In addition to this flagship store, Starbucks will soon open another store in Hyderabad at Forum Mall.

The opening of the flagship store in Hyderabad is consistent with the long-term growth strategy to strengthen the company's presence in south India and bringing the Starbucks Experience to more neighbourhoods around the country. Designed to reflect Starbucks coffee heritage, this flagship store in Hyderabad serves as a gathering place for customers to enjoy a personalized, handcrafted cup of coffee with friends and family.

Commenting on the launch in Hyderabad, Avani Davda, CEO, Tata Starbucks Limited, said: "We are excited to bring the unique Starbucks Experience to Hyderabad. We look forward to offer customers our distinctive Third Place - that place between home and work where they can enjoy the highest quality arabica coffee, handcrafted Starbucks beverages and locally-relevant food in an unparalleled store environment. We believe that at the heart of this experience are our passionate and knowledgeable partners, who proudly wear the iconic Starbucks green apron every day, and are the key to our continued success.”

Located at Jubilee Hills, the flagship store embraces the diverse history and rich culture of Hyderabad. Artistic Nizam jewellery designs layered with metallics, stringing of pearls and hexagonal shapes are weaved in throughout the store. The design elements resonate the heritage of the coffee growing regions of south India and are inspired from the city's rich craft traditions around wood and jewellery-making while complimenting the elements with highly contemporary furniture and art.

Starbucks entered the Indian market in October 2012 and currently operates 58 stores in India across Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad through a network of more than 1,000 partners.
