By Satarupa Chakraborty | February 13, 2018

The mannequin manufacturer will soon launch a range of mannequins with digital faces that can run videos and other brand communications while working on concepts like movable mannequins.

Bangalore-based mannequin manufacturer company Tranz Mannequins is integrating technology in mannequins to make them part of brand communications. Soon-to-be-launched, this range of mannequins will have digital screen on their faces and can run videos and other brand communications. Tranz is also working on the concept of movable mannequins and mannequin sensors.

Talking in detail with Retail4growth, Verghese Joseph, Managing Director, Tranz Mannequins, said, “For long, mannequins have been used only for display purposes. However, we thought that they are integral parts of a retail environment and can be effectively used for communications and other purposes. Our tech-enabled range of mannequins can run videos and communicate with customers on respective displayed merchandise. We are constantly doing R&D to go beyond displays and will soon come up with a range of movable mannequins which can walk around the stores. These mannequins can further be used to map consumer behaviour etc.”
