Zaywar launches 12th store in Kolkata

Zaywar, the silver jewellery shop of the house of SJPA, unveiled its 12th store in Kolkata, in the Salt Lake area. The brand specialises in unique design and light weight jewellery sets with a range from daily wear -- such as light weight necklace sets, chains, rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings and bangles -- to more special occasion related exclusive designs.

Anirban Sen, Director of SJPA, said: "We have opened three company-owned stores under this affordable silver brand and six showrooms are franchise based, all inside West Bengal and soon we are going to add more stores in Kolkata. He added: "There has been a rising demand for silver jewellery following an increase in gold price. Apart from sale through our stores, we also operate an e-commerce portal and our target is the youth.”

Zaywar has also tied up with other stores for a shop-in-shop format; while promotional activities are being carried out through select Café Coffee Day outlets in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru.

Shubendu Chatterjee, Marketing Manager of Zaywar, said, "In the span of less than 2 years Zaywar has opened 12 stores and the Zaywar brand is also available in 20 different outlets. We will open outlets in Shyambazar and Behala within this FY or before Poila Baishak (Bengali New Year). We are also present in Paschim Midnapore, Kachhrapara, Barasat, Uttarpara, Berhampore. The company is looking at expanding the retail division using the franchisee model.”
