CaratLane – Blooming Flower Power

By Satarupa Chakraborty | July 17, 2018

CaratLane’s Fleur window is taken to 14 mall stores with its kinetic version while the static version is executed at rest of the stores. The artificial flowers have wired head massagers, which were then attached to motors to help the movement of blooming in and out. The window has been executed by HG Graphics.

Omni-channel jewellery brand from Titan, CaratLane, to promote their flower-inspired jewellery collection, Fleur, has executed a kinetic window that showcases artificial flowers blooming. Executed at all stores, the kinetic idea has been executed at mall locations (14 stores) while the same scheme has been executed at rest of locations only through static window.

Talking in detail about the window concept and materials to Retail4growth, Tasneem Bharmal Dixit, Visual merchandiser from CaratLane, explained, “When we decided to re-launch the jewellery collection, we wanted to make some noise around it and what better could it be than a kinetic window that shows the blooming process of flowers from their buds? The flowers are made of foam boards, paper and acrylic etc while we used plastic pipes as the stems of the flower. To add the blooming movement, we used an interesting hack to attach simple head massaging wires, which was further attached to a motor helping the flowers blooming in and out!”

Pan India execution: HG Graphics, New Delhi.
