By Satarupa Chakraborty | November 23, 2018

New store ID to be introduced in 40% of the brand stores focuses on reducing props and revamping display & facade.

Having launched their new store design ID last year, Louis Philippe (LP) plans to revamp 40% of their existing store network into the new ID by next year end. Currently, there are 13 stores that wear the new ID out of their entire store chain comprising close to 300 outlets.

Explaining the objective of the new ID and future plans, Vipul Batra, Retail Head, LP – Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, shared with Retail4growth, “The ID has been developed, keeping in mind the intensifying competition in this category. The design concept reduces the use of props, introduces an impactful façade and refurbishes the way display has been done so far. The design concept has three variants -- Platinum, Gold and Silver, depending upon the locations of the stores. We plan to bring every store under this ID and the immediate plan is to bring 40% of our stores under this ID by end of next year.”

LP has two store formats – House of LP and LP Sports. The new design ID will make entry into both these formats along with their SISs (Shop-in-Shops).
