Once upon a Forky in stores!

Mattel Toys’ recent in-store campaign brought alive the Toy Story 4 characters in store with large displays to create a fun and vibrant environment at retail. The campaign included various elements such as nesting tables, easel board, tent cards, end caps, window displays and such.
Drawing inspiration from the popular Disney film ‘Toy Story 4’, Mattel unveiled its latest line of products for young consumers. To promote the range, the company recently executed their latest in-store campaign at 20+ toy speciality stores i.e. Hamleys and ToysRUs across the country. The Toy Story 4 in-store activation was in sync with the movie content.
Talking about the objective behind the in-store campaign for Toy Story 4, Lokesh Kataria – Head Marketing, Mattel Toys India Pvt Ltd, shared, “The main objective for us was to create an engaging look at the retail touchpoints to showcase the latest Toy Story 4 movie products to inspire demand. We timed the in-store campaign 20 days prior to the movie release, through 20+ toy specialty stores i.e. Hamleys and ToysRUs across the country.”
Mattel works as a licensee with Disney across franchises like Toy Story 4 and Cars. For Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 4, the toy brand worked closely with Disney India’s consumer products team on ideation and execution of the in-store activation.
