Leading large format retailer Shoppers Stop observed World Chocolate Day (July 7) with an installation and exhibition of the top trending flavours of their brand ‘Mithas’ at the Bangalore Airport store.
Designed and executed by the VM team led by Shilpee of Shoppers Stop, the display has large replicas of chocolates and candies made of PVC pipes, wrapping paper and thermocol. A nesting table is set up to showcase the product assortment and presentation, enticing customers to buy the product. Further, a larger than life graphic announces the occasion – the World Chocolate Day - and is used as a powerful background to the display, thereby completing a theatrical setup.
Speaking about the unique idea, Pawan Nagarwal, VP – Visual Merchandising, Shoppers Stop Limited, shared with Retail4Growth, “Mithas (by Shoppers Stop) store is the top selling brand in the country. The Bangalore Airport store gets lot of walk-ins as customers pick up lot of gift products as well. The displays were created to grab attention and set in a celebratory mood.”
