A customized retail experience is established for an old fabric brand helping it reinvent and familiarize its legacy to a younger audience through a spatial atmosphere along with some bespoke innovative details.
The 800-sqft shop in the Mall of India, Noida was treated as a warm inviting and monochromatic space, which with its palette of Indian marble, mild steel, brass and timber creates a restrained backdrop highlighting the rich colors and weaves of the diverse merchandise. Divided in four sections, the store used modular and customized display units to achieve flexibility amidst sheer volume of merchandises. A key feature in the space, the backdrop to the reception/ cash desk shows a beautiful pattern that was traced from a House of Raisons heirloom dupatta with a 100-year old design sourced from a weaver in Banaras and then hand painted in gold by a local artist.
