KARMIK to be acclaimed as one of the first Indian Multi-designer Fashion Houses to open its doors to the fashionistas of Pakistan by unveiling its store in Lahore by the end of August.

KARMIK, the Indian Multi-designer Fashion House, will soon enter Pakistan with the unveiling of its boutique in Lahore. The label's CMD, Pradeep Hirani has signed a franchise and agreement with Sheikh Aftab Arshad, Asad Amin Sheikh and Asif Amin Sheikh of Arshadsons, the Lahore-based fashion retailer for taking KARMIK to Pakistan.

Sheikh Aftab Arshad, Partner -- Arshadsons, said, "We feel that Pakistan is a brand conscious market and high quality products at reasonable prices are in great demand. Indian designers and garments are very popular in Pakistan; however the only source of their availability is Dubai. We spotted this void in demand and supply and hence are bringing KARMIK to Pakistan. Our main aim is to use all the best marketing practices to ensure that the brand becomes a household name in Pakistan.”

As part of this master-franchise deal with Arshadsons, the brand plans to open six stores in cities such as Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad over the next three years, followed by smaller towns. The estimated investment for this deal is around 3 million dollars over three years.

Pradeep Hirani, owner of KARMIK said "We have inked a new page in the history of Indian fashion through this deal with Pakistan's leading fashion retailers and master franchisers Arshadsons. We are proud and confident of our association. The plan now is to take KARMIK to other neighboring countries like Nepal and Bangladesh, and to include few Pakistani and Dhaka designers to our repertoire of Top Indian designers for KARMIK.”

With 10 stores already present in the leading cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Chennai, Amritsar and Jaipur, along with 12 more stores in the immediate pipeline, KARMIK is committed to achieving 60 Point of Sales by 2015.
