Murginns forays into Punjab

With the appointment of new distributors in Ludhiana, Patiala, Ambala, Amritsar and Pathankot, Murginns' products are expected to available across modern retail formats, including Big Bazaar and Easyday.

Murginns, the NCR-based manufacturer of breakfast cereal and value-added dairy based functional foods, is set to strengthen its network in North India, with the appointment of distributors in Ludhiana, Patiala, Ambala, Amritsar and Pathankot. Murginns' parent company, KCL, is also expanding its product reach into Punjab with recent launch of Murginns Garlic Herb Butter in Chandigarh.

On the occasion of the  company's foray into Punjab, Deeptanshu Khemka, Chief Executive Officer, Murginns said, "Punjab is a state where people are fond of dairy products, and we wish to fulfill their expectations with our innovative and quality products. Our launch of Murginns Garlic Herb Butter is dedicated to customers of Ludhiana and Chandigarh.”

Murginns a brand owned by KCL Foods, is a part of the Rs 250 crore Faridabad-based Khemka Group (Known as KCL Group), founded in 1983. In 2009, they ventured into breakfast cereals under the brand name Murginns by introducing a large range of healthy breakfast cereals like cornflakes, instant wheat porridge and muesli etc.
