Big Hello marks its presence in Lucknow

Big Hello, the specialty fashion brand for plus-sized people, is on an expansion spree. The brand has just announced the inauguration of its first retail experience store in Phoenix United Mall, Lucknow.  

The opening of the first Lucknow store also marks the brand’s expansion in North India. Big Hello has 20 retail stores in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijayawada, and Guntur.     

Designed as ‘Experience Stores’,all the Big Hello stores feature lively and vibrant interiors with trademark dancing mannequins and a unique and dedicatedlounge for its customers to sit and shop.  

The brand also runs an e-commerce store and plans to open more stores in Hyderabad soon.

The specialty fashion brand aims to open 50 new stores this financial year as part of a dedicated national retail expansion strategy. The company says Indian plus-size fashion apparel market, estimated at ₹88,000 crore, has a 12% share in theoverall fashion market. Of this, the share of the organised market is estimated at 33%, orabout ₹29,000 crore. This market is further projected to grow at a CAGR of 25% over thenext five years.
