Croma, the large-format, multi-brand consumer durables and electronics store from the House of Tata's, has recently unveiled its LED store at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. Spread across 7,510 sq.ft., this newly launched specialist consumer electronics store, houses categories like Home Entertainment, Small Appliances, White Goods, Computers and Peripherals, Communication, Music, Imaging and Gaming software. Croma is a part of Infiniti Retail Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Tata Sons.

Ajit Joshi, MD & CEO, Infiniti Retail Limited said, "With energy prices on the rise, stores are looking to switch to green, energy efficient lighting. LED's are nearly 70% less on energy to operate than other lighting systems currently in place and last up to 50,000 hrs. Not only is this significant to life on our planet, but the Rupees saved can be quite substantial and will continue to make a difference as the cost of electricity goes up in the future. Going Green doesn't only help save financially but also saves environmentally. After switching to LED we could reduce the lighting load from 2.5 watt/square feet to over 1 watt/square feet.”

LED lighting is a green technology based lighting that is also cost effective and is poised to deliver on energy savings with a positive environmental impact.

The complete lighting solution at the Croma Kharghar store is initiated by Plus Light Tech, one of the India's Leading Retail Lighting Brand.
