H&M to foray into non-metros, to open 4 stores this month

The Swedish fashion retailer plans to enter Kolkata and tier-I cities of Indore, Coimbatore and Amritsar.

Swedish fashion retailer H&M (Hennes & Mauritz), known for its sustainable and moderately-priced merchandises, will be opening stores in Indore, Kolkata, Coimbatore and Amritsar this September. The brand has identified immense potential in these markets and with an accumulated space of over 75,000 sq.ft these stores will be opened in key locations.

The store in Indore will be opening on 16th September at Treasure Island Next followed by Prozone Mall in Coimbatore on 22nd September and Woodburn Central in Kolkata on 23rd September. H&M will also open its first store at the Mall of Amritsar on September 30th.

The upcoming H&M stores will offer women’s, men’s, teenagers and children’s apparels and accessories, footwear and lingerie.
