IKEA’s 1st in-mall store to be launched at R CITY, Mumbai

R CITY mall in Mumbai is all set to welcome and house the world’s leading Swedish home furnishings retailer, IKEA’s newest store in the city.

To be inaugurated on 28^th July 2022, the 72,000 square feet store will be the first in-mall format for IKEA in India. Furthermore, the store will offer a wide range of 7000+ functional and sustainable products with a 130-seating capacity restaurant that will offer a wide range of Indian and Swedish delicacies.

Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Runwal, Managing Director, Runwal Group, said, “We are delighted to have the world’s most loved home furnishings brand at R CITY. R CITY with a sprawling 1.2 million square feet retail space is the biggest mall in the city and is well-known for its eclectic mix of premium International and indigenous brands, such as H&M, Sephora, Nykaa Luxe, Superdry, ALDO, Decathlon, Dyson, Kidzania, Chuck E. Cheese, Ritu Kumar, Hitchki among many others. However, having IKEA added to this mix will see the mall establishing itself as the prime family destination of the city that offers its patrons an experience that is truly extraordinary.
