MINISO opens new store at T2 in Delhi International Airport

The retailer plans a second store in Terminal 3 soon and has ambitious expansion plans lined up for India.
Global lifestyle retailer MINISO celebrated the opening of its new store in Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 2, with a second store set to open in Terminal 3 in late June. By establishing a presence in India’s largest and busiest airport, MINISO aims to bring its fun, affordable and well-designed products to global visitors, according to the company statement.
It adds, “This significant expansion not only marks a major milestone in MINISO's rapidly growing retail footprint in India, but also sets the stage for an ambitious expansion strategy in 2023, with the brand aiming to enter more prime commercial locations to elevate its performance in the country.”
The new MINISO stores, located in the bustling domestic departures area of Terminal 2 and domestic arrivals area of Terminal 3, span over 750 square feet and boast a diverse offering of MINISO’s signature products.
To celebrate the first store’s grand opening, the first 100 customers were welcomed with vouchers. Raffle draws were also conducted, giving visitors the chance to win extra discounts.
