Mother Dairy ties up with Zomato to home deliver fruits, vegetables in Delhi NCR

Safal, the fruits and vegetable arm of Mother Dairy, has initiated delivery within a radius of 10 km around 11 of its 300 outlets.
Safal, the fruits and vegetables arm of Mother Dairy, has partnered with restaurant aggregator and food delivery company Zomato to home deliver fruit and vegetables in select locations of the national capital region (NCR).
Consumers can avail the facility of home delivery by ordering the products through Zomato.
Pradipta Sahoo, business head, Safal, Mother Dairy Fruits & Vegetables Pvt Ltd said, “To catalyse the ease of living and convenience for our consumers, Safal has initiated the home delivery option in partnership with Zomato. As a consumer-centric organisation, we are taking requisite precautions to offer safe and quality produce to our consumers,”
To begin with, Safal, which sells 270 tonnes of fruit and vegetables a day in the region, has initiated delivery in a radius of 10 km around 11 of its 300 outlets. These include Saket, Vasant Kunj, Dwarka, Janakpuri and Panchsheel Enclave in Delhi as well as Sector 50 and sector 29 in Noida. The service will be gradually expanded to the entire NCR region.
Mother Dairy is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Mother Dairy is a major dairy player which manufactures markets and sells milk and milk products including cultured products, ice creams, paneer and ghee under the 'Mother Dairy' brand.
