Snapdeal to sell rural artisans produced from Tamil Nadu under exclusive brand

The Poompuhar-Snapdeal store set to be launched in March 2015, India's leading online marketplace, has signed an MOU with Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation, a Government of Tamil Nadu Enterprise, for online promotion and selling of traditional handicrafts from Tamil Nadu. Through this exclusive store, Snapdeal will equip the artisans with online cataloguing and help them refine their product offerings through its data analytics tools. The Poompuhar-Snapdeal store set to be launched in March 2015, will let customers shop for a wide range of signature products like brass products, stone & wood carvings, sandalwood products etc.
