Value fashion retailer V-Bazaar to enter into grocery business

The present stores are 6000-8000 sq. ft. while the new stores with grocery will have 9000-10,000 sq. ft.

The leading value fashion retail chain, V-Bazaar has declared its entry into the grocery business as a part of its retail expansion strategy.

The company plans to add grocery in few of all its upcoming stores based on their location and size. The present stores are 6000-8000 sq. ft. while the new stores with grocery will have 9000-10,000 sq. ft.

Hemant Agarwal, Managing Director, V-Bazaar, mentioned, “By adding grocery to our current retail fare, we expect an increase in footfalls at our stores. We are trying to be a one-stop solution for the family where they can shop for garments and also buy grocery from our stores.”

The 72-store retail major has its presence across Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. The situation after covid has motivated the company to introduce grocery as a segment in their stores.
