Megamart needed a bright red background with solid white branding elements for its signage.
Megamart needed a bright red background with solid white branding elements for its signage. Here, the Mega mart letters in Kannada are plotter cut on 3M 3630-33 red and pasted on the p111 flex with white block out. GE tetra Red Led’s are used with SMPS. For the English version, the letters-1.2MM thick aluminum channel letters raised with 100mm front glow back base are fabricated using light color ACP(white). The top and bottom is powder coated to get a glossy white. The front Side is covered with 3mm 040 Acrylic and the front side internal is supported by Sunboards. 3 Modules of GE Tetra Max White LED is also used.
Background of 3M 3630-33 Red is pasted on p3 Flex, Aluminum channel Letter’s are fixed with back support to the flex.
Top, Bottom and Back side sheets are pasted with LEF Vinyl. Front structure tensioning is fixed with 1’’X1†Aluminum L beading system along with 1mm edge to edge lighting. Projected pipe support is provided to mount the MEGAMART Letters.
The project involved the following challenges:
1. Achieving the slim (7†cabinet) glow sign board to the height of 20ft with compromising on the structure stability & being easy to install.
2. A signal seeming flex upto 20ft H & 60ft W without wobbling with high tensioning on 7†cabinet.
3. 12ft Mia (Raised letters) resting against the flex with internal (Inside cabinet maintaining light uniformity) engineering support.
