VM&RD Retail Design Awards 2016 : Adidas Originals

Situated amidst the space constraint and chaotic environment of Hauz Khas Village market, the Adidas Original store showcased the localized flavor of the store without losing the dynamic facet of the brand. The ceiling as well the flooring was made in raw concrete and so was the external facade. Simple white fixtures were set against this stark concrete background to create a stunning visual contrast. Live digital projection in the store was set up to make the space more dynamic and energetic to connect with brand TG. Product were placed in zones in increasing order of product density so that the view from outside was visually clean and minimal to stand out distinctively amidst the shouting street elements. A high-octane dynamic poster/ decal was used on the façade window to maintain the element of verve and connect with youth. Usage of edgy decals and 70’s graffiti style accentuated the urban street character of Hauz Khas village.
