Rolls Mania aims to open 500 outlets across India

By Swaminathan Balasubramanian | December 20, 2018

The quick service restaurant (QSR) brand today has more than 110 outlets across 30 Indian cities through the franchisee model.

Rolls Mania, which started as a small outlet outside a restaurant in Pune and today has more than 110 outlets across 30 in India through the franchisee model, is now actively looking at expansion and is aiming for 500 more outlets. The quick service restaurant (QSR) has 37 outlets in Pune alone.

The company firmly believes that quick eateries are the way ahead and expects growth in the rolls category, particularly with the increase in the number of corporate entities.

Rolls Mania outlets are typically sized between 150 sq and 300 sq on an average and are predominantly located in residential and commercial hubs.

As far as the design of the outlets is concerned, the focus is on making the kitchen look clean, beautiful and visually appealing with a state-of-the-art look.

On the location of the stores in the existing localities, Rolls Mania is aimed to be present for every 3 lakh populations. Currently, the location of the stores includes malls, high-streets, residential areas and some corporate campuses. Rolls Mania is also planning to soon enter airports with dedicated spaces.

The company is also looking at a global presence beginning with the United Arab Emirates for their first international outlet, before entering other countries. Currently much of their business comes from franchisee models, with both franchise and master franchise models.
