Max, the fashion chain from the Landmark Group, recently started integrating experiential touchpoints through digital technologies. Max has opened two FLAGSHIP STORE ID outlets at Elgin Road, Kolkata and Mall of India, Noida while the SMART STORE ID is coming soon in Bangalore, Chennai and a few more metros.
Video walls at Max stores are located at a few touchpoints like Store Façade (Elgin Road, Kolkata outlet), in-mall branding (Seawoods, Navi Mumbai), Store windows (Infiniti Mall, Malad-Mumbai outlet), store entrance portal (VR Mall, Bangalore) and instore LFD panels (at 45 stores).Video walls are also used as the back wall at Cash Tills (VR Mall Bangalore and Kerala outlets) and through POSs which have dual screens for both customers and store operators.
Taking ‘Smart Shop’ concept ahead, Max has created seamless inventory in association with omni-channel partner, Ace Turtle. The concept is intended to give the customers access to entire range of merchandises available at any precise moment at any outlet. Started with 5 outlets in Bangalore as pilot project, this will be implemented in 5 top cities.
Max has created few experience zones like interactive mirrors engraved with messages to create dialogue effect with customers. ‘Kids zone’ are also created in partnership with IKC play featuring board games with global standards for kids. Accessory columns have been converted into backlit columns to attract attention. Max is also introducing LED active column with mannequins “Theatre De La Mode” at Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore.
