"We started the pilot a few months ago with an experience centre in a Bengaluru tech-park where we receive a large number of orders. At these centres, we will offer value added services like order pickup, instant returns, trial room and alterations of products," Myntra Jabong Head Amar Nagaram was quoted saying in a PTI report.
He further added, this not only results in better customer experience but also brings down cost of returns as customer can receive faster replacements.
Nagaram said Myntra aims to open 30 such centres in next few months across various metro cities.
The company has also focused on strengthening the kirana partners network for last-mile delivery of packages.
“We expect over 8 million products to be ordered for EORS 10 with the platform geared to handle 12,000 orders per minute at peak… we have expanded our kirana network to over 12,500 stores to manage 70 percent of the deliveries for EORS 10,” Nagaram said in a report.
Spread across 3,200 sqft, the new store is reportedly the biggest store for the brand and is 100% RFID (Radio frequency identification) enabled.
