Skechers launches 6 new stores in the Middle East and CIS countries

The company opens 6 new stores in Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Libya and Uzkekistan; and plans to launch 7 more stores by the end of the year.
The North American lifestyle and performance footwear company, Skechers has opened doors to 6 new stores and is planning to increase its operations amidst the present day challenges infused by the pandemic. The brand has opened three stores in Pakistan and one each in Azerbaijan, Libya and Uzkekistan.
Archana Das, General Manager, Skechers Middle East and CIS, “As one of the biggest footwear brands in the region, we see this time as the ideal period for preparation for the future. Opening a store, at the right location takes time, and the downtime only gave us the motivation to have more touchpoints for consumers. The sneaker industry is expanding and we need to be present in more locations to fulfil our consumer needs.”
The company plans to launch 7 additional stores by the end of the year. With the current expansion, the Skechers store count rose to 191 stores in the region
